YUKON PUBLIC SCHOOLS

We are officially one week into the new school year. What a joy it is to see our students advance to the next grade and be challenged with new skills, new classrooms, and new opportunities for student connection.

Martin Luther King Jr. famously said, "Intelligence plus character — that is the goal of true education." Here at Yukon Public Schools, we believe each student has a remarkable story, and it is our responsibility, as the YPS community, to steward them as they navigate character development and academic excellence. Together, we are championing them as they tackle challenges in their core subjects, reach new heights in their creativity, and work through relational conflicts.

While grades and tests are important, they act as information to help us support our students' educational journey. We are only one week in, but we are excited to see where this academic year takes us. After a hopefully long and restful break, it only feels right for us to all be together, in the classroom, learning and growing every single day.
