Assistant Superintendent, Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment

The Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment (CIA) team of Yukon Public Schools is focused on student growth and meeting the academic needs of all students.  Through the adoption of evidence-based curriculum and supplemental resources, students will receive a strong academic foundation and will be prepared for college or career post-secondary opportunities.  The CIA team also supports a multi-tiered system of instruction as well as oversees the administration of all local, state, and federal assessments.

In addition to supporting the academic needs of students, the dedicated members of the CIA team provide ongoing, job-embedded professional development to teachers and administrators.  This focus is to improve the knowledge and skills needed to support student achievement while also establishing a growth mindset focused on continuous improvement at the site and district level.
